This Week at Cross Church | Cross Church Christmas Concert
This Sunday and Monday evening, we will present our annual Christmas concert led by our Cross Church Global Worship Choir and band. After last year’s packed performance, we felt the need to expand to another night. A performance on Monday night also gives you an opportunity to extend last-minute invitations at work or school. A CONVERSATION WITH GOD ABOUT YOUR FUTURE
This Sunday, we will continue our series, 7 Conversations You Should Have With God. Last Sunday, I talked about our nation. If you missed it, watch it here. This Sunday will be a fabulous time in the Word of God and our subject will be A Conversation With God About Your Future. We all need to have this conversation, so please join us.
CROSS CHURCH CIRCLE PRAYER MINISTRY
Are you an active part of our Cross Church Circle Prayer Ministry? Each month, I personally write a specific prayer guide for the thirty minutes you commit to pray for our church weekly. We have over 3,000 people who are a part of our Cross Church Circle. It is informative, inspirational, and personal. Please join us and sign up online today.
END OF YEAR GIVING
As we near the end of 2015, we individually need to ask: Have I been faithful to honor God with at least the first ten percent of my entire income including salary, bonus, stock, property, or anything else? INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS OFFERING
Now is the time to give gifts above the first tenth to our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. This is a critical need and we all need to be part of it.
BLESSING BASKET MINISTRY WAS A SUCCESS
On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday prior to Thanksgiving, our church family ministered through our Blessing Basket Ministry. It was a tremendous success. There are many stories to tell and for that, we praise God. Looking at the reality report of this ministry outreach experience, we learn that:
- 5,660 People attended
- 2,432 Families were assisted
- 454 People publicly professed Christ as Lord
- 1,673 Volunteers served
Through our five campuses and the Compassion Center, we held eleven different services in two languages. To God alone we give the glory! To you who gave and volunteered, we say thank you.

This Week at Cross Church | The Number is One
At Cross Church we continue to see God work in the lives of thousands of people; but the most important number for us is the number ONE. Our mission is Reaching Northwest Arkansas, America, and the world for Jesus Christ. And we do that ONE person at a time. This year we have seen 1,119 people baptized at Cross Church; and every ONE of them has a story.
A Miracle Story
Recently, a couple started visiting our church. At Cross Church, they heard the Gospel clearly presented and she responded by accepting Jesus as her Savior. She was baptized the next week. Her husband saw such a change in her life that he wanted what she had. A few weeks later, he accepted Christ and was baptized. Every week since, they have both attended Cross Church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. This couple is growing in their walk with the Lord and are raising their child in our church. There is no greater miracle than when Jesus changes people.
You Are Making the Difference
We reach people and each ONE of us plays a part in the story of the 1,643 professions of faith in Christ at Cross Church in the past year. Through your prayers, service, and giving, you are a vital part of their story. So, THANK YOU for doing your part to help us reach that ONE person. Yes, we have seen great things but there is more to do. There is still ONE more person to reach!
Help Us Reach One More… the Next One
As we approach the end of the year, we encourage you to remain faithful in your giving so we can continue to reach the next ONE God has for us to impact. As you review your year of giving to the church, ask yourself if you have been faithful to honor God by giving at least the first tenth of all God has blessed you with, including a bonus, dividends, or other means. As well, please consider an extra gift to your church to help us continue to be fully funded for all our missions and ministries. Your gifts are also tax deductible.
Remember, Cross Church
Always remember, each gift from you will help us reach the next ONE for Christ! Every dollar helps us better fulfill our mission. Let’s all end 2015 on a strong giving note so we set the stage for even more exciting stories of lives changed in 2016.
