This Week at Cross Church | Do Not Miss Our NWA Men’s Conference Beginning Friday Night
This Friday night and Saturday morning, our Northwest Arkansas Men’s Conference will take place. You can sign up here. If you are still trying to decide if you should come, watch this video. It should motivate you. Please dear friend, come, join us this weekend. We will conclude by noon on Saturday. Bring a friend or family member.
Vote on March 1
I want to encourage you to fulfill your God-given privilege of voting in the upcoming primaries in Arkansas. This is a critical time in America and we must participate for the sake of our nation. We must always remember, we do not check our Christianity at the door, but we are to live out our biblical and Christian worldview in every decision of life. This is a high privilege in America, but also one for which we are accountable to God. As you know, Cross Church does not endorse political candidates.
Do Not Miss Sunday, February 28
This Sunday, we continue to go forward in our series, GIVE ME JOY! If you missed last Sunday, catch up here. Invite someone to join you in one of our many services on our five campuses. See you Sunday!
Talk about an exciting day! March 6 will be one outstanding day for all of the Cross Church Kids, from preschool through fifth grade. This is one of the finest videos our media team has ever produced, so watch here. Ensure your children are here and have them bring a friend.
Easter is Four Weeks Away from Sunday
Can you believe that Easter weekend is only four weeks away from Sunday? Easter weekend at Cross Church is Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27. Our five campuses will conduct 15 Easter weekend services.
The week prior to Easter is Spring Break all across Arkansas. We know many will be away with their families during this week. Due to this, we have decided we will not have our Passion Week luncheons or Good Friday service as we have in the past few years. Yet, we will continue with Easter in the Community the entire week leading up to Easter weekend. You’ll be hearing more about this and how you can participate soon.
Who will you bring to church on Easter?
Be in Prayer Daily for Our 2016 Southern Baptist Convention
Please begin to pray now for our 2016 Southern Baptist Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. The dates are Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14-15. Please pray daily for all involved in planning, as we are making some major decisions and need the wisdom of God.
Thank You Cross Church Family… I love you!
See you Sunday!

This Week at Cross Church | One of the Most Rewarding Service Opportunities Ever
This past Friday night, Jeana and I spent some time at our Cross Church Springdale Campus at the Night to Shine event. Some 220 special needs persons and 200 plus families/caregivers and guests enjoyed a special evening made possible by over 690 volunteers. It was a fun and rewarding night for everyone. In the words of one of our volunteers, “This was one of the most rewarding service opportunities ever.” Thank you to Tammy Kuykendall who led this volunteer effort, and all our volunteers who gave countless hours to make this night special. Thank you to Heath Bryant, Clint Smith, and the entire staff team that served. And thank you to the Tim Tebow Foundation for this incredible vision.
I Love My Church Day Was a Blessing
We are thankful for all of our volunteers and staff team that made this past Sunday special. Even with the threats of a winter forecast, we saw the Lord do some special things among us. Please join us weekly as we continue our series Give Me Joy, and invite others on this journey through Philippians.
Men, Now is the Time to Register for Our 2016 Men’s Conference
Jack Graham, Steve Gaines, and Ted Traylor are three great men of God and personal friends. These men are not just capable communicators, but fantastic preachers of the Word of God. I want you to take a moment to watch this video and then share it with friends, relatives, and colleagues. You can sign up here.
Faithfulness Builds a Life and a Church
Dear friends, be faithful! Faithfulness builds a life and a church. When you do the right things, both small and large, privately and publicly, you build a strong life before others. The same is true for churches. We need to be faithful to our Lord’s cherished bride, the church! Therefore, do all you can daily and weekly to be faithful! Why? Faithfulness builds a life and a church.
The Challenges Before Us in America
The challenges before us in America are great. This past Monday, I released an article that I think you will find interesting. Please read and share this article, God, America, and Politics: 5 Major Issues Facing Genuine Evangelical Believers.
