This Week at Cross Church | Easter Recap and Looking Ahead

2018 Easter at Cross Church

Easter 2018-twacc (1)Winter weather greeted us on Easter Weekend at Cross Church! On Sunday morning, many people came to worship our risen Lord even though the weather was frigid and rainy. With three services on Saturday and eleven services on Sunday, Cross Church provided fourteen worship options for our church and region. Additionally, during the week leading up to Easter, we took the gospel to 123 locations with 3,026 in attendance, and 33 salvations through Easter in the Community. To God be the glory, and we are so thankful for what He has done in our midst!

Parents, Sign Your Children and Teenagers Up for Summer Camps

Summer church camps are highly impactful for children and teenagers. This is a tremendous way to invest in and forward your child’s spiritual development. Additionally, it places them in an environment to make friendships that will hopefully forward faith in a healthy way in their life. So, parents, here are the options for children and student camps this summer:

  • June 11 – 14Kidz Camp – for students who have completed 2nd – 5th grades
  • June 24 – 29Beach Camp – for students who have completed 8th – 12th grades
  • July 9 – 12Middle School Camp – for students who have completed 6th – 7th grades

These camps are for all of our Cross Church students, no matter what campus you attend. Be sure to sign up now to take advantage of early registration discounts. If you have further questions, call the Student Ministry at 479-751-4523.

This Week at Cross Church | Easter Weekend is Here!

Invite, Invite, and Invite People to Easter Weekend

Easter weekend provides a fantastic opportunity to invite people to Cross Church. Right now, send an invitation via text or give someone a call and invite them to join you on Easter weekend. Make a conscious decision: I will invite people to Easter services at Cross Church. In fact, specifically ask them to let our church be their church on Easter weekend. We are praying and working toward this weekend being our greatest ever in Cross Church history, all to the glory of God. Here are the times of our fourteen services on our four campuses:

New Series: I Want to Change

I Want to Change-twacc1

This weekend, we will begin a series of messages from the book of Romans. This series will be called I WANT TO CHANGE. In the first week, we will speak from Romans more generally, yet very personally. Our title is I WANT TO CHANGE MY LIFE. For the next six weeks, we will work our way through the heart of the book of Romans, chapters six through eight. This will take us through Mother’s Day, May 13. Then, beginning on Sunday, May 20, we will work our way through Romans chapters one through five over the summer. This will be a tremendous time, and I’m looking forward to this time weekly.

Resolve to Seize Some of These Summer Opportunities
