This Week at Cross church | Let Me Share a Few Important Things With You

In our Cross Church Family update we send you each week, let me take a few moments to share with you a few important things from my heart.

1. Every Sunday is important.

All we do here at Cross Church points us to Sunday. From our ministries in the community or with various age groups throughout the week, all culminates on the Lord’s Day, which is Sunday. The Lord wants His people to worship Him on the Lord’s Day in and through their local church.

Let’s recapture the heart the Lord and His Word have for His church. Do not accept or buy into a world that dumbs down spiritual things. The Lord loves His church. He loves His people worshipping Him together in His church on the Lord’s Day. Therefore, every Sunday is important.

Circle-twacc2. Celebrate our Cross Church Circle prayer ministry.

One year ago, we began to call our people to be part of our Cross Church Circle. This ministry is a 30-minute weekly commitment to pray for the ministries of our church using a prayer guide that I write. You can pray on the day and time you have committed to regardless of where you are in the world. We send you this prayer guide via email monthly or mail if you do not have access to email.

In that initial month, over 3,000 prayer warriors began this journey with us. Would you like to be part of this ministry? We need you! Just look at all God has done through this church as we near the end of our first year of Cross Church Circle. It is amazing and I believe it is because we are praying in agreement together, even though we are in different geographical locations.

Family Worship-twacc23. Cross Church Family Worship Night is September 28.

Once a quarter, our campuses come together for a night of worship with singing, celebrating, and preaching. Our next Cross Church Worship Night will be at our Springdale Campus at 5:00 p.m. on September 28. Please join us.

We will also have the Lord’s Supper on this evening and it will be a special time with God’s people. We will share a message from God’s Word, expecting Him to meet with us. We will hear testimonies that are powerful and meaningful. Let’s come together from all five campuses for a fun night of worship.

Plan on staying after the service for an ice cream fellowship with live music and inflatables. Childcare will be available during the service, so bring your family and join us.

4. Pray for me in this next week and beyond.

Next week, I will be taking part in some significant gatherings relating to Southern Baptist Convention business. Please pray that I will clearly speak forth only what the Lord wants me to say and lead only where the Lord wants me to lead.

Thanks for letting me share my heart with you today. I am praying for you.

Yours for the Great Commission,

Ronnie W. Floyd
