NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Today at 7:00 a.m., I will be the keynote speaker at the Bentonville Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. I am honored that Mayor Bob McCaslin invited me to be part of this special event. I know that Springdale, Fayetteville, and other cities are also having special events for the National Day of Prayer. I hope that you will have the opportunity to attend one of these events.

Tonight, I have been invited to be part of the National Day of Prayer Radio Broadcast, “Telling the Story of Awakening. “ The program airs out of Chicago from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (CST). This program is connected to the national OneCry.com movement. They will have approximately 40 participants from around America sharing, praying, and worshipping. Their 2013 National Day of Prayer program was recently rated the #1 program by the National Religious Broadcasters. It was aired on over 545 radio stations and had an estimated 1 million listeners. SUNDAY, MAY 4

This coming Sunday, we will continue our series on HOPE with the message titled “Hope Over Hell.” Join us as we continue to share from God’s Word, the promises of hope. This Sunday is also Senior Recognition Sunday, when we recognize and honor our high school and college seniors.

DISASTER RELIEF ARKANSAS

Our prayers go out to those affected by the recent torna­does. Arkansas Disaster Relief Teams are currently deploying from areas closer to Little Rock. For the latest information and details on how you can help or to make a donation, go to crosschurch.com/disasterrelief.

 REACHING OUR MISSION

 Our one-year giving program to missions began on May 1, and goes through April 30, 2015. This is an opportunity to give in addition to the ministry budget. Our goal for this year is $825,000. Reaching Our Mission will go to: Greater Missionary Support, Multi-Site Growth, Church Planting, Cross Church School of Ministry, and Other Ministry Opportunities. Please pray and seek the Lord about giving above the ministry budget to this special one-year program.
