This Week at Cross Church | Important Days Ahead

Thank You for Praying for Us

We had a remarkable three days last week, leading our 2018 Mega Metro Pastors & Wives Conference in Washington, DC. Leading these pastors of some of the largest Southern Baptist churches was a privilege and a great responsibility. Jeana led the wives and I facilitated the pastor’s gatherings, and we had the joy to come together for some meetings, including a White House Senior Staff briefing, and a surprise visit by Vice President Pence. What a special three days! Thank you for praying for us as we led this gathering and as we move forward toward the National Day of Prayer.

These are Pivotal Days at Cross Church

Great challenges await us here at Cross Church. In these pivotal days, each decision we make impacts our future. We have some major goals we believe God wants to see accomplished, and with Him, we can do these together. Therefore, please pray with us diligently about these goals. Let’s commit to be in worship and small groups weekly, serve in a ministry weekly or seasonally, and give financially systematically and sacrificially. All of these things are important to move us toward the future we believe God has for us.

The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 3

Unity-NDP 2018 Theme

The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 3. Where will you participate in a prayer observance here in Northwest Arkansas? There are several available, so please choose one to attend. Then, you can come to the Fayetteville Campus that evening and participate with us as we broadcast live from Statuary Hall in the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. Our Fayetteville campus doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the service will begin at 6:30 p.m. No registration is necessary.

I will be leading several venues in Washington, DC during this pivotal week, Tuesday evening through Friday morning. Jeana will be with me in each of these events. Please pray for us, as the week is extensive. The opportunities and responsibilities are great. Our most pivotal engagement is on Thursday, May 3, 7:30 p.m. EDT, leading The National Observance of the National Day of Prayer in Statuary Hall of the United States Capitol Building. Please pray for us as we move toward these days.
