This Week at Cross Church | Time Change and Joel Rosenberg This Week

Move Your Clock Forward One Hour on Saturday – Time Change on Sunday, March 11

Time Change-twacc

This Saturday night, move your clocks forward one hour before you retire so you will be ON TIME for church on Sunday morning, March 11. We must encourage one another to be faithful on this day. We have multiple worship services available for you.

JoelRosenberg-twaccJoel Rosenberg on Sunday, March 11, at Pinnacle Hills and Springdale Campuses

Best-selling author and an advisor to national leaders in Israel and America, Joel Rosenberg, will be our speaker this Sunday morning at all services at Springdale and Pinnacle Hills. He will speak to us about the earth-shaking events in the world today from the Word of God. The title of his message is The Gathering Storm: Will I be Christ’s Ambassador in a World of Darkness? He will talk about the Unites States, the Middle East, Russia, and beyond. You will not want to miss it. For those attending Fayetteville Campus, Pastor Nick will deliver the Word of God, and in Neosho, Pastor Chris. Pray for them.

Israel Trip Meeting with Joel Rosenberg

Israel 2018-twaccIf you are already committed to going to Israel with us in July or you’re interested in going, please come on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. to the Chapel at the Springdale Campus. Joel Rosenberg will meet with us regarding travel to Israel and answer questions about the Middle East. There is still time to sign up to go with us, but our sign-up window is closing rapidly. Anyone can attend the meeting, but if you are going to Israel with us, it is imperative that you join us Sunday night. I hope to see you then.

Be Faithful Financially

As we enter Time Change Sunday and then back-to-back Spring Break Sundays, be faithful financially. Please give when you are here and when you are not here. Consider setting up recurring giving, and remember, you can change it any time you decide. If you prefer to give by check, mail it to the office on the Sundays you are away. Financial stability is very important in a ministry with a $20 million budget. Additionally, remember in this next four weeks, give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. We each need to support reaching our own nation for Jesus Christ with our 51,000 other partner churches across our beloved Southern Baptist Convention family.

Planning Your National Day of Prayer Event on May 3, 2018

NDP-Pie ChartAs we are nearing the National Day of Prayer on May 3, 2018, most of the leaders of prayer observances are beginning to plan in detail for their church, business, community, school, or other venue.

The diagram shows us our goal in allocating the times for each National Day of Prayer event. Recently, I went into our studio and recorded some thoughts in this six-minute video that I hope will be helpful. Please take the time to watch it and share it with everyone on your planning team for your National Day of Prayer event or other events.
