This Week at Cross Church | Thank You Cross Church Family

Pastor, Blue PoloI would be remiss if I did not take the time to say thank you to my Cross Church Family about several things. Please take the time to read these brief words.

Thank you for praying for our Dallas Prayer Gathering

What a powerful time we had in Dallas on Monday night and Tuesday morning. We had 178 Senior Pastors from 27 states represented in this national Senior Pastors Call to Prayer Gathering for Revival and Awakening. God ignited many wonderful moments of deep repentance, restitution, powerful intercession, major brokenness, and personal revival. All of this launched us into some major intercessory moments for our churches and our nation. If you would like to read a few comments from some of the attendees, you can do so here. These things happened because so many of you prayed.

Thank you for praying for our Church Planting Mobilization Meeting in Boston

Prayer Gathering, WideMany of you heard my appeal, two Sundays ago, to pray for our meeting in Boston. We had 24 churches gathered to learn about becoming a part of planting churches in 32 major cities in North America. I shared that we lacked Lead Partners in six of those cities. Here is the great news: I know that at least four of the six cities have been embraced by several pastors and churches. Therefore, Lead Partners are needed for only two more cities: Los Angeles (which I think we will secure this week), and San Diego. Again, your prayer support for this is huge. Cross Church, not only are we planting churches in great numbers, but God is using us to launch a major national vision for planting churches by mobilizing other churches to take the lead. There is no telling what this will mean for the future. Why church planting? Perhaps this will help you know why we believe in it so much.

Thank You for Giving to Cross Church, as we surpass our Ministry Budget Goal for 2012-2013 by $1 million!

Last Sunday concluded our Ministry Budget for the 2012-2013 Fiscal Year. We operate in a fiscal year from October 1 – September 30. After last Sunday’s offering, we finished $1 million above our Ministry Budget Goal for the year! May God be praised! For each of your who have honored the Lord with the first tenth or more to our Ministry Budget, amen and thanks! For anyone who has given this past year, thanks to you! Now, this coming Sunday kicks off a new, larger budget due to major needs. Our Ministry Budget funds much of our mission work around the world, all of our ministries, and so much more, way too many things to list. It operates the vision and ministries of our church. Annually, Jeana and I increase our giving to our Ministry Budget. We will do so again this upcoming week. Join us please! God always comes through and blesses greatly. In fact, read this word from our Board of Directors about this coming year.

Thank you for joining our Cross Church Circle Prayer Ministry

What phenomenal response we have had from our church! Our Cross Church Circle launched formally on October 1. You can still sign up to be a part of this circle! Can you believe it? So far, 3,464 of our people will be praying weekly for thirty minutes, using a prayer guide I design each month. We will mail it to you, or you can receive it via email. You can learn about more about the Cross Church Circle here. To each of you who are a part of this phenomenal ministry, thank you!

Listen, Sunday will be great! Why? We have thousands praying for it! I cannot wait to meet with you, Cross Church Family!

See You Sunday! Yours for the Great Commission,

Ronnie W. Floyd
