This Week at Cross Church | Jesus 1st, The Perfect Gift, and The Miracle Continues
To God be the glory for all He has done, is doing, and will do through the Cross Church Family. Thank you for being a part of our faith family. As a spiritual community, we do all we can to “Reach Northwest Arkansas, America, and the World for Jesus Christ.”
Jesus 1st, our December Preaching Series
This coming Sunday, December 8, we begin our “Jesus 1st” preaching series that will go through the month of December. Friend, this series will encourage you beyond words, challenge you in your walk with Christ, and prepare you for all God has for you in 2014. Of all the seasons of the year, the December season should receive our best in every way. Please invite people everywhere you go this month.
Sunday Night, December 8, 5:30 PM, and its Significance
This coming Sunday night, December 8, our combined choirs and gifted worship leaders will present and involve us in a powerful, incredible, night of Christmas Worship entitled, The Perfect Gift. I encourage you to bring your family and friends. Last year was fabulous and I promise, if you come, you will have no regrets. It will take place on our Pinnacle Hills Campus at 5:30 p.m. this Sunday night.
The Miracle Continues, our Annual Review
I want you to review some of the powerful things God has done in 2013 through the ministries of Cross Church. The Miracle Continues is our annual review of some of the powerful victories the Lord has given to our Cross Church Family. You can review it at crosschurch.com/annualreview and I encourage you to share it with others.

A Pastor and His Children
A pastor must do all he can do to have a good relationship with his children. Through the years, this seems to always be a topic of conversation when talking with pastors. My wife is a “Preacher’s Kid” and understands the pressure of growing up in a pastor’s home, and now what it is like to be married to a pastor. Therefore, we worked very hard as a team to capture the hearts of our children for the Lord, the gospel, and for our family.
In November, we hosted the Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. They requested that we conduct an authentic and transparent conversation of my relationship with our two sons. I hope you will sit back for a few minutes and laugh with us, grow with us, and share our conversation together. Be sure you share it with others. Thanks for taking a few minutes to watch it.
