This Week at Cross Church | Spring is Here!
Stay Engaged During Spring Break
Many of our families will begin a break from school schedules beginning this weekend. Therefore, the next two Sundays are what we call Spring Break Sundays. Take the challenge: Stay engaged during Spring Break. How?
- If you are home, be in worship on Sunday
- Engage online with us if you are away
- Practice generosity with your church, whether you are here or away
The ministry of Cross Church goes forward whether you are away or here during Spring Break. Pray for us.
14 Worship Services on Easter Weekend
Cross Church has a huge opportunity on Easter Weekend, March 31-April 1, with fourteen worship services to choose from across our campuses. Plan now to join us in one of the services on the campus you attend. We believe this could lead us to a powerful, engaging weekend of worship with Cross Church. Pray for Easter Weekend! Please download the graphic below that informs everyone about each campus and the worship service times.
Remain Focused on Our Financial Goal by the End of 2020
As I shared with our church last year, we have four major goals we want to see happen in our church by the end of 2020. Our financial goal is to eliminate all financial debt! We are an estimated $10 million from this happening, and when it does, we will have a value of $125 million in properties and facilities. When this debt is eliminated, we will free up no less than $3.2 million annually that we can allocate toward future advancement of our mission in Northwest Arkansas, America, and the world. To reach this goal, we must achieve these things:
- Meet and exceed our Ministry Budget annually
- Fayetteville Campus reaches or exceeds their commitments in their new campus development, while also meeting their Ministry Budget
These can and are happening. Pray with us about these needs, as budget drives the debt down on a weekly basis, but also for a miracle gift or gifts that can help or eliminate debt now. God can do anything!
Pray for the National Day of Prayer on May 3, 2018
Please pray each day for the National Day of Prayer across America on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Thousands upon thousands of gatherings will occur in all kinds of settings from sunrise in Maine all the way to sunset in Hawaii. Engage in a National Day of Prayer observance in the city you live in or even create one to engage more people in praying for America. Do all you can now to pray for and support the National Day of Prayer.
Please Pray for Jeana and Me
Over the next few weeks, Jeana and I will be experiencing the blessing of God with leadership entrusted to us here and away. Please pray for us. Our greatest love in ministry is our ministry at Cross Church, where leadership never takes a vacation. Just one example: for 31 years, nine months of the year, Jeana has and still meets with our entire group of Ministry Staff Team wives. Wow! Faithfulness. This is in addition to leading a Bible Study in our community and other responsibilities at church and at home. In July, we will be taking no less than 100 of our people to Israel for ten days. We will walk through Easter weekend here, then lead our 2018 Mega Metro Pastors and Wives Conference in April in Washington, DC, and then Jeana accompanies me again to our nation’s capital city for five days in May to lead and forward the National Day of Prayer. Therefore, when Easter begins, we enter one of these unique seasons of opportunity in praying for grace, power, and provision. Our greatest need today is knowing you are interceding for us in prayer. God is at work! We follow Him fully! Stand with us in prayer!

Grow Your Life and Ministry: A Prayer Magazine, Church Prayer Leaders Network, and Direct Access to Prayer Resources
Can you imagine the ministry of the National Day of Prayer with a quarterly prayer magazine, a church prayer leaders network, and the ability to provide access to prayer resources at your fingertips?
This is now a reality because the National Day of Prayer Task Force recently accepted the gift to our ministry of Prayer Connect magazine, the Church Prayer Leaders Network, and PrayerShop Publishing. They will broaden the scope of the National Day of Prayer beyond a single day, helping us mobilize Americans to pray daily for our nation, our communities, and our churches.
Believing This Could Be Our Greatest Year
For 30 years, the National Day of Prayer Task Force has been at the forefront of raising up prayer for our nation on the first Thursday of May. As we approach another National Day of Prayer, we are again hard at work mobilizing, motivating, and equipping millions of people to pray for our nation. This year’s theme, “Unity,” has struck a nerve, and we suspect that we will have our largest participation ever on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Clearly, it has never been more important for Christians to pray fervently for revival in the Church and a spiritual awakening in America as it is today. But, as important as that is, rallying people to pray one day a year is not enough. We need to equip, motivate, and mobilize believers to pray for America.
We need to raise up an army of believers who will pray for their churches, their communities, and their nation. This will broaden the scope of the National Day of Prayer beyond a single day, helping us mobilize Americans to pray for our nation, our communities, and our churches.
