Overflowing with gratitude for the summer season, we now move onward to the fall at Cross Church. As your church family, we want you engaged in the work of the Lord during this season.

Time to Come Home

The value of a church family is beyond description. Whether we are walking through moments of life’s greatest celebrations or through periods of darkness filled with challenges and losses, we want to share those times with you. There is nothing like the church, absolutely nothing. It is time to come home to Cross Church.

Increasing Intensity in the Mission

Our mission of reaching Northwest Arkansas, America, and the world moves us onward and keeps us focused. Our mission compels us to operate with increasing intensity every year. This is why we can celebrate that in August we completed our third highest year of baptisms in our 145-year history. We give God praise for the 1,119 people who followed the Lord in believer’s baptism during the past year. Our mission giving has been over the top, especially with our growing commitment of giving $1 million this fiscal year, which concludes September 30, through the Cooperative Program.

Onward, Cross Church

Launching from this moment in our history, we appeal to our Church family to move to a higher level of commitment than ever before in your church spiritual life. We ask you to pray through demonstrating a growing intensity in your:

• Engagement in worship weekly
• Experience in a small group weekly
• Elevation in volunteerism through our ministry
• Escalation in giving financially through our church
• Excitement in bringing others with you to Cross Church

God has us here together at this time in history. Now is the time for all of us to move onward in our walk with Jesus Christ, our devotion to His Church, and our commitment to His mission for our lives together.

We Need a Breakthrough

Earlier this week, I wrote about global, national, and Southern Baptist crises. If you haven’t already, please take the time to read it. We must rise up and lead filled with the power of God until the breakthroughs come.
