This Week at Cross Church | Summer Freedom Sunday is Here!
This coming Sunday is our annual Summer Freedom Sunday at Cross Church!
Each of our services will be filled with spiritual and patriotic songs that will warm the heart. Do not miss it. We will follow with a message about our nation that will be highly relevant for us in this critical season.
A special feature of this year’s program will be the recognition of our Vietnam veterans on the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.
Please spread the word to all of our veterans, especially those of the Vietnam War. Additionally, we will recognize all veterans and those currently serving in our armed forces. I guarantee you will love these moments on Sunday morning. Do not miss it!
Fireworks At The Crosses of Pinnacle Hills on Sunday Late Afternoon and Evening!
Last year, approximately 10,000 people gathered for this significant, highly patriotic night on the grounds of our Pinnacle Hills Campus. The experience concludes just before dusk with a major patriotic celebration, followed by one of the greatest fireworks shows in Northwest Arkansas! Bring friends with you both in the morning and evening. It will be a terrific day! This is one of my favorite days at Cross Church!
The Schedule for Sunday Afternoon and Evening:
5 p.m. Campus and food vendors open (dinner, dessert, and drink choices available)
7 p.m. BAPTISM AT THE CROSSES. Sign up now if you would like to be baptized.
Following baptism, patriotic celebration followed by fireworks
My Deepest Appreciation to Our Staff Team, Volunteers, and Church
I want to extend my deepest appreciation to our staff team for their work leading up to and at the Southern Baptist Convention. Additionally, our volunteers from choir to technical support to logistics were highly appreciated. For our church that prayed us through this entire past year as President of the Southern Baptist Convention, please know we are highly grateful. Now that I will be serving an additional year as President of the Southern Baptist Convention, please pray me through again. Our lives will never be the same because of all God has done in us this past year. To God alone be the glory!
Now is the Time to Lead,
Ronnie W. Floyd
