This Week at Cross Church | When the Resurrected Christ Shows Up

This Sunday, we will conclude our current series, Passion Week and Beyond. We will be teaching Luke 24:36-53. From this exciting passage, we will talk about what happened then and what happens now When the Resurrected Christ Shows Up. This is one exciting passage and is a great follow-up to our message from this past Sunday, Hearts Ablaze! I hope you will watch it before Sunday if you were not with us last week.

A National Call to Pray

I want to call your personal attention to a whole new season of intentional prayer for our upcoming Southern Baptist Convention meeting. While any church is allowed no more than ten voting messengers, any person can attend a Southern Baptist Convention.

Please give attention to my article from this past Monday, A National Call for Prayer to All Southern Baptists for the Next Great Awakening and to Reach the World for Christ. This article tells you about the details of our Tuesday night session, which is dedicated in its entirety to a major national prayer gathering. Our hope and prayer is that this will become a major catalyst for the next Great Awakening in America. We need Jesus to show up in His power and glory!

How You Can Begin to Pray Now

As you look at the information contained in the article linked above, you can begin to pray for:

• Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit of God to fall upon this gathering, as well as any audience that joins us via Internet or other media. 
• Pray for these men and leaders by name daily.
• Join us for a day of fasting and prayer in May – our team will determine details soon and communicate with you.
• Pray for me and all of our team who will assist not only publicly, but privately to insure this happens by the plan God is putting in our hearts.
