Pleading With Southern Baptists
With a deep burden for revival in the church, spiritual awakening in America, and for the world to be reached for Christ, I wrote this simple and brief 16-page e-book entitled, “Pleading With Southern Baptists”. In the full counsel of God, we have to know that the time is soon for the return of Jesus. The clarion call for God’s people is to repentance – not just Godly sorrow but a turning away from all the idols in our lives that come before Jesus, that distract us and steal our affections. A return to our first love will bring the revival we cry out for. As revival inhabits our souls, our homes, and our churches, we will be equipped to receive the awakening harvest.
I love this focus, so simple yet so profound. I have challenged my own church and my praying friends. Thank you for a heart that seeks the power of God over the programs we have replaced it with. Programs are good, but what we really need is the power of Holy Spirit to encompass the Western Church in a mighty wave of God’s glory!! Everything begins with a few faithful committed to prayer.
May the cry reverberate throughout America!!
