This Week at Cross Church | Teamwork is Best!
This past weekend at Cross Church was historic. We saw thousands of people experience worship at one of our four campuses. I have prayed the words below for myself and for our church, and led our Staff Team to thank Him from this verse this week. Isaiah 26:15b says,
“YOU have extended our borders, and we give YOU the glory.”
God extended our borders this week in every way and we give God all the glory!
God uses people
Throughout human history, God has used people. He takes imperfect vessels and uses us for His glory. This past week, He used hundreds of our people in all kinds of ways to minister to the masses. Thank you for being used of God. Continue on!
Teamwork is best
None of us could have done what occurred this past weekend on our own. It took a team to realize this dream. Think about the teamwork.
- God gave me the vision for “I’ll Be 1” and He did so, straight from His Word
- Under God’s leadership, I shared this vision with our Staff Team
- Together, we shared the vision from the pulpit
- Together, we embraced, implemented, strategized, owned, and prayed for the vision
- Together, we saw God do things on and through each campus that only God could do
- Together, we celebrate what God did
- Together, we thank God and give Him all the glory
Teamwork is always best. We can do more together than we can ever do on our own!
Together, we go forward
Now together, we go forward. God has extended our borders of influence, bringing new people and families to us. Now we go forward, ministering to and discipling them. God has also reconnected others with our fellowship, and now we go forward, leading them in their walk with Christ.
Together, we go forward, believing God. We must actively believe God for what only He can do. Anything we saw happen this past weekend, He can do continually. Plus, there is so much more He wants to do among us and through us!
Pray for Sunday. Pray for our journey together.
STRONG begins on Sunday
We will be unveiling a new mini-series this coming Sunday called, STRONG. I believe over these next three weeks, your life will be challenged as we teach God’s Word about what it means to be STRONG. These next three Sundays, we will return to the book of Acts. I really hope you will not miss. When this mini-series is completed, we will have taught from the book of Acts on all of our campuses, for thirty weeks this year. Yes, Cross Church believes and teaches the Bible to God’s people and beyond. This is why we need to bring people with us weekly.
Yours for the Great Commission,
Ronnie W. Floyd
