This Week at Cross Church | Thank You, Cross Church
Thank You for Making Sunday Great
I want to thank you for making last Sunday great at Cross Church. In each mission ministry, worship ministry, and small group ministry, thank you for bringing your 1, making Sunday a day of mass participation and attendance. May God continue to grow His church, Jesus’ church!
Thank You for Being a Leading Church
Two weeks ago, I shared how our Cross Church Family is helping lead our Southern Baptist Convention in giving. Yesterday, I wrote an article designed for pastors, but one I think you will learn from as well. Please take a moment to read it here. A brief reminder why we have determined to lead strongly as one of over 47,000 churches giving through our Cooperative Program:
- It is more about mission than money
- It is more about unifying us than dividing us
- It is more about working together than working alone
- It is more about our church than our convention
Yes, I am so glad we are involved in partnering with over 47,000 other churches to advance the gospel across our state, nation, and the world.
Will You Consider Joining Me?
I have been asking you to consider joining our staff and me for one and one-half days next week, October 29-30, helping us advance a strategy of prayer for America. It is right here in Northwest Arkansas, held at our own Cross Church Pinnacle Hills campus.
You can register here. But I also want to point you to what I wrote about this event in greater detail this past Monday. I really hope you will join me. I especially do NOT want you to miss the moment on Tuesday morning, October 30, when I reveal the theme for the 2019 National Day of Prayer.
This powerful and compelling theme could be embraced and forwarded through an estimated 200 denominations and just under 400,000 churches in America, the leaders in each of our 19,510 incorporated places in the United States including cities, towns, and villages, as well as through each of the 3,142 counties across America. When you hear and see it, I think you will agree. I believe it is a theme that any person from any walk of life will be able to embrace.
Please join me next week. Pray for me. I am praying for you.
See you Sunday,
Ronnie W. Floyd
