This Week at Cross Church | Exciting Days Ahead
In Washington, D.C.
Jeana and I are in Washington, D.C. to attend the Presidential Inauguration on Friday. Today, we are highly engaged in several things: A major pre-inaugural prayer gathering for evangelicals, a celebration worship service with friends of Israel, and other pre-inaugural events. Friday will be filled with a breakfast fellowship with the Arkansas delegation, the Presidential Inauguration, including the swearing in ceremony when President-elect Donald Trump becomes the 45th President of the United States, followed by the Inauguration Parade and other celebrations. Yesterday, I shared how we all have reasons to celebrate along with challenges to address. I hope you’ll read it if you haven’t already.
Jeana and I will return home to Northwest Arkansas on Saturday night, ready for worship on Sunday morning. Pray for our new President, Vice-President, his cabinet, members of Congress, and all the decisions they will be making together for the future of our nation.
