This Week at Cross Church | Happy Thanksgiving, Cross Church
Today is the Anniversary of a Tragic Reminder to Pray for President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump
One of the great tragedies in American history happened on November 22, 1963. On this day fifty-three years ago, our 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. This tragedy reminds us of our Christian responsibility to pray daily for the safety and protection of President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump.
We live in a sinful world. Evil is alive and well. Only Jesus Christ removes the evil in our hearts and will one day ultimately remove the evil in this world.
Jesus Came to Save You
As our Christmas series from Matthew 1-2 continues, this Sunday we unwrap the Christmas gift Jesus Came to Save You from Matthew 1:18-25. Please bring family members and friends with you. We will teach a strong gospel message that will introduce and prayerfully lead people into a personal relationship with God.
WE BELIEVE Campaign Continues to Grow in Fayetteville
Our WE BELIEVE building campaign continues to grow in Fayetteville. As of this moment, we have a total of 542 families committing to give $5.4 million over the next three years. This is fabulous and prayerfully will continue to grow. For a five-year-old campus with an annual budget of $3.3 million to do their first campaign at this level is exceptional. The miracle continues at Cross Church!
Thank You to All Who Gave Toward and Served at Blessing Baskets
To each of our people who served and/or gave to Blessing Baskets, thank you. As of this time, we have been able to provide food to over 2,200 families and see 484 people come to Christ as Lord and Savior. We could not do this without you. Thank you to our staff team and our laypeople who made this vision a reality to God’s glory.
Thank You from Our Family to Yours
Thank you for your commitment to Cross Church. Jeana and I are always thankful for family and health, but we are also very grateful for our spiritual family, Cross Church! We love you and thank God for you.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Floyds,
