This Week at Cross Church | Summer at Cross Church

Southern Baptist Convention SBC 2016-Blog

The Southern Baptist Convention begins on Tuesday. We are just days away from meeting with Southern Baptists from all over the world, and excitement is building. Our team has worked tirelessly and prayed endlessly for the Lord to bless our gathering in St. Louis. Please continue to pray for us as the final details come together and I prepare to lead my last meetings as President of the Southern Baptist Convention. Also, pray for our Cross Church choir, singers, and band as they prepare to lead the entire convention in worship.

We are also looking forward to our Tuesday evening session on June 14, which will be dedicated entirely to prayer. Join us in praying for a mighty move of God at our convention and the beginning of the next Great Spiritual Awakening. Anyone can attend the Southern Baptist Convention, but if you are not able, you can watch live online at sbcannualmeeting.net.

Summer Freedom Celebration, Baptism, and Fireworks at the Crosses SFC 2016-blog

We are looking forward to July 3 at Cross Church. You do not want to miss our annual Summer Freedom Celebration. We will give honor to those who have served and are still serving our country today. All services will be filled with spiritual and patriotic songs that will warm the heart, followed by a dynamic message about our nation. We will also be welcoming special guest Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council.

On the evening of July 3, we will host one of my favorite events of the summer. Join us at the Pinnacle Hills campus for baptism, family fun, and the fireworks that will close our evening. If you would like to follow the Lord in baptism on July 3, go here to sign up or find out more.

You Asked for It You Asked For It-blog

On Sunday, we continue our You Asked for It sermon series on all campuses. Our Teaching Pastors and I are diligently working to answer as many of your questions as we can through this series. This week, we will teach on the question, “Does God Really Send Good People to Hell?” You don’t want to miss it.

Thank You

Cross Church, thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord not just during the summer, but always. It is a joy to be your pastor.

Now is the Time to Lead,
